Masar
A modern fleet and route management platform focused on simplifying logistics operations, improving visibility, and supporting scalable business workflows.
Masar
Project Overview
Vision
Masar is envisioned as a high-performance logistics dashboard and routing engine designed to empower transportation agencies, delivery businesses, and fleet managers. The ultimate goal is to automate dispatch, reduce operating costs, and provide real-time updates for field assets.
The Problem
Logistics operations often rely on fragmented systems, leading to high fuel expenses, manual dispatch delays, and zero visibility into active driver locations. As delivery fleets scale, planning optimal routes manually becomes a major operational bottleneck.
Planned Architecture
- Web Dashboard: A responsive Next.js application styled with Tailwind CSS, utilizing Server Components and React Query for real-time asset tracking.
- Backend API: A scalable Node.js service managing geospatial coordinates and user authentication.
- Database: PostgreSQL for robust transactional logs and spatial coordinate queries, with MongoDB handling dynamic trip data.
Expected Features
- Route Optimization Engine: Automatic calculations to suggest the most fuel-efficient routes based on multiple drop-off locations.
- Interactive Map: Dynamic tracking of drivers and stops using Mapbox API integration.
- Role-based Authentication: Custom panels for drivers, dispatch managers, and administration heads.
- Notifications: Instant updates and alerts for drivers when route changes occur.
Current Development Stage
Masar is currently In Development. The architectural planning and initial database designs are complete, and we are working on the routing engine prototype.
